漲水后，魚已向淹沒的淺灘移動，釣點應選在離岸邊2—4米，且水流較緩的淺水區，鲫魚、鯉魚、草魚都有逆水爭游的習性，因此，釣點選在上游河口及池塘的入口下釣，必有收獲。從垂釣時間來看，漲水的上午比下午好，特別是雨后上午的7至9時上鉤率最高。
